TapBoost

How It Works

One tap sends your customers exactly where you want them. Here's what happens behind the scenes.

What is NFC?

NFC (near-field communication) is the same short-range technology behind tap-to-pay. A tiny chip inside every TapBoost stand and sticker holds your link — no batteries, no charging, no Wi-Fi needed.

How customers tap

A customer holds the top of their phone near the stand or sticker for about a second. Their phone shows a notification, they tap it, and your link opens. Most modern iPhones and Android phones support this out of the box — no app download is normally required.

How TapBoost programs your destination

During checkout you tell us where the product should point: your Google review page, Instagram profile, website, digital menu, contact page, or a custom link. We program and test it before shipping, so it works the moment you unbox it.

Changing the link later

Depending on the product, the destination can be updated after delivery — useful if you rebrand, change menus, or want to run a promotion. Contact TapBoost support and we'll walk you through it.

Where to place it

Put stands where customers pause: the register, host stand, waiting area, or tables. Stickers work on doors, menus, mirrors, and delivery packaging. The best spot is wherever a happy customer is already holding their phone.
